The Junior 'A' Shamrocks would like to offer local businesses the opportunity to support a team of young (18-21) talented lacrosse players on their journey towards the BC playoffs and the national championship Minto Cup.

The Junior 'A' Shamrocks have been playing box lacrosse in Victoria for over 30 years with a high level of success. Sponsorship is needed to allow the team to continue to compete against the best in BC.

We are looking for advertisers, game sponsors, financial donations, silent auction and give-away item donations, and player employment opportunities.

The Junior 'A' Shamrocks play 10 home games at Bear Mountain from late April to July, with playoffs in August. Sponsoring companies will be showcased at these games through banners, program ads, jersey sponsor listings, mentioned on radio advertising as well as having a link on the team website (www.jrshamrocks.com). Sponsors will also receive season passes and game tickets.

This is an investment that will promote your company in the community and support local athletes at the same time.

JERSEY SPONSORSHIPS

• Have your company name on both home and away game jerseys of a particular player
• The company name will be announced with starting line-ups prior to every home game
• Your company name will accompany the player’s picture and biographical name in our program
• Have your company name listed on our website www.jrshamrocks.com
• Receive 50 game tickets for your personal use or distribution

PROGRAM ADS:

This season Black Press is producing, printing and distributing our programs as well as selling the ads for same. In addition to being sold at all Jr. Shamrock games, the programs will be distributed with the Goldstream Gazette (an estimated 17,300 copies) throughout the West Shore community.
The Jr. Shamrocks will receive 25% of the proceeds from all advertising sales.

Costs for full colour ads in the 2008 program are as follows:

• QUARTER PAGE AD - $445.00
• HALF PAGE AD - $795.00
• FULL PAGE AD - $1495.00

We are looking for items suitable for prizes for our lucky program draws, frisbee toss, etc. If you are willing to donate some merchandise, gift certificates or other items for prizes, please contact Janice Huckin at 384-1742 or by e-mail president@jrshamrocks.com. In return for any donations, your company will receive mention in our program inserts as well as tickets for regular season home games for your personal use or distribution. Shamrock Season Tickets can also be purchased for $50.00 each. Junior Shamrocks Season Tickets and Bonus Pack Tickets are good for all 10 regular season home games only, and do not include the playoff games.
