Junior Shamrock - Top Defensive Player

This is another relatively new award, given to the best defensive player. Defensive players are often overlooked as game stars and are therefore often the unsung heroes of any team. Certainly a good defensive player provides a high comfort level for a goaltender. With the game now focusing on strong transition, however, defensive players now have more of an opportunity to participate in scoring.
