The B.C. Jr. A Lacrosse League held its annual draft of graduating midget players on Super Bowl Sunday.
Following is a list of players selected by the Jr. Shamrocks.
In the first round, the Shamrocks selected Mason Pynn from Saanich, an extremely talented and athletic offensive player with great stick skills.

In the second round, the ‘Rocks traded the rights to Vinnie Ricci to Langley in exchange for Langley’s second round pick which Victoria used to draft Brody Pepper from Peninsula. Pepper has exceptional stick skills and his lacrosse sense makeshim an offensive threat. He also gives 100% all game long.

The third pick was Fred Bathurst-Hunt, another Peninsula product, an above average two way player with a great work ethic. They followed up with Jake Wall from Oceanside, a good two-way player with great lacrosse sense

Next up was Colton Lacharity, from Victoria-Esquimalt, another good solid two-way player, followed by Cam Edgar, a strong defensive player with a good work ethic from the Saanich Tigers. The Shamrocks dipped into the North Okanagan ranks to select Steve Ringdal with their 7th pick. Ringdal is an extremely fit team leader who gives 100% at all times and is a solid two-way player. From Vic-Esquimalt, the next choice was Cam Anderson, a sound offensive player with a good work ethic. The 9th pick was Derek Jackson, an offensive player with a good stick and the final Jr. Shamrock pick of the draft was Trevor Hansen, a big skilled defenseman who can also help on offense when required. The final two players come from the Saanich minor lacrosse ranks.

Congratulations to all draftees!
